What's in the kit?
- 'Doughbie' - my sourdough starter, fed and ready to bake with. It's the magic ingredient - the wild yeast that makes sourdough sour!
- My basic sourdough bread recipe
- My classic Rustic White Sourdough flour mix
- My signature Wholemeal with 8 Seed flour mix
- Some extra 8 Seed Mix for topping
- A Dough Whisk (an essential tool)
- A Bread Lame & extra blades in a leather casing (for scoring)
- A Bench/Bowl Scraper (to handle that sticky dough)
- A cotton tea towel
The flour mix is enough for two full loaves, and the starter will basically live forever if you take care of it. The tools are tried and tested, and they make the process simpler and more enjoyable.
